A tools for cross-species alignments of phenotypes

PhenomeBLAST is an ontology-based tool that provides a practical implementation of cross-species alignments of phenotypes using ontologies. Alignments are available for download and include cross-species alignment for yeast, worm, fly, mouse and human phenotypes. These are based on the Yeast phenotype ontology, Worm Phenotype Ontology, Flybase Controlled Vocabulary, Mammalian Phenotype Ontology and Human Phenotype Ontology.

The software to generate these mappings is available in the Subversion Repository. An executable software to generate the alignments is available for 64bit Linux only. Releases for other architectures are under development.
